When you are logged in, PostHog associates your activity with your user profile (email and name) to provide personalized analytics. On public pages, PostHog operates in cookieless mode where each visit is treated as a new anonymous session.

We also capture server-side product analytics events (such as account creation, connector usage, and subscription changes) to understand how the platform is used and to improve our service.
